Rafalek Bogdan Ivanovych
Graduated in 1965 at the Lviv Polytechnic Institute majoring in “Cars and tractors”. Got the speciality of engineer-mechanic.
Since 1969, performs forensic engineering and transport (technical) expertise. Worked in both the public expert institutions of Ukraine and Russia, including Kiev research Institute of judicial examinations of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine.
Currently performs the engineering and transport expertise in the field of:
- 10.1 “Investigation of circumstances dorozhno-transport incident”
- 10.4 “Transport-traceological research.”
During the work the expert performed about four thousand technical and transport-trace examinations.
Paid much attention to research work. In particular, was directly involved in testing the braking system of cars VAZ Volga automobile plant (Togliatti) and testing of brake systems of trucks and passenger cars of different brands in the Northern region of the Tyumen region. The results of these tests were discussed by experts on scientific and methodological conferences, which were recommended for use in the development of procedures autotechnical examinations.
Their experiences to share with colleagues, experts, lawyers,specialists of insurance companies and just drivers on the pages of books, where thoroughly at a high professional level examines the circumstances and mechanism of the accident, taking into account the specific driving situation. And only after that from a technical point of view, assessed the actions of the participants of the incident concerning their compliance (non-compliance) with the requirements of traffic Regulations of Ukraine. Here, in particular, can be called books, which was supported by the National Association of lawyers of Ukraine and Union of experts of Ukraine, “the accident: what to do?” “Road transport. Protection and expertise cases of accidents and damages caused by an accident, legal, expert and financial issues”, which found a positive response from readers.
With the aim of improving traffic safety on our roads after the execution of almost every examination, the expert sends the appeal to the road service, the National police, indicating deficiencies in traffic organization, and their proposals for their elimination. It should be noted that in many cases the proposals are listened to.
